Reports to the Head of Sacco.
The FSE is responsible for frontline membership recruitment, onboarding, and deposit mobilisation for Username SACCO and supporting the achievement of the 2026 membership growth targets across urban, peri-urban, and rural markets.
This is a results-driven, field-based role ideal for individuals who thrive on clear targets, people engagement, and on-ground execution, and who are motivated by measurable outcomes and performance-based rewards, while upholding high standards of data accuracy, compliance, service quality, and brand integrity in alignment with the SACCO’s strategic objective
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – FSEs
- Drive membership growth by recruiting and converting new SACCO members through field activations, referrals, partnerships, and community outreach, ensuring all members are accurately registered and fully activated within 48 hours.
- Mobilise member deposits and grow contributions by promoting consistent savings, encouraging higher contribution bands, and following up to sustain active participation and improve Average Contribution Per Member (ACPM).
- Expand membership through referrals and community engagement by building strong grassroots networks and executing structured outreach across urban, peri-urban, and rural markets.
- Ensure accountability and performance tracking through accurate daily and weekly reporting, GPS-verified field activity, submission of verifiable evidence, and participation in performance reviews.
- Educate members and represent the SACCO brand by clearly communicating products, benefits, and value proposition while delivering a professional, ethical, and positive member experience.
- Uphold compliance, data integrity, and ethical standards by protecting member information, adhering to SACCO policies and regulations, and safeguarding the Username SACCO brand and reputation
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in microfinance.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident in presenting to diverse clientele.
- Competence in Excel or Google Sheets for tracking sales, audits, and performance reports.
- Digitally fluent —understands Instagram, WhatsApp Business, and social media engagement as part of modern luxury service.
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems for client management and follow-ups.
